The artist
Oleksii Hurinenko (born in Kyiv, Ukraine) is a contemporary artist whose work is a culmination of a lifelong obsession with visual storytelling.
A child prodigy who began surprising teachers at very early age, Hurinenko’s mastery of classical techniques led him to graduate from art school with honors. For him, painting was never just a hobby; it was a sanctuary, a place where time ceased to exist.While his professional path led him into the high-stakes world of game design, rising from a 2D artist to an Art Director, the core of his identity remained rooted in traditional art. His diverse background, spanning professional photography, cinematography, and many other creating directions, granted him a unique lens through which he views the world.Now, at 36, Hurinenko returns to the canvas, not to replicate the past, but to pioneer something entirely new.
OLEKSII'S Philosophy
The collection Oleksii's is working is an exploration of the Irreproducible. In a digital age where everything can be copied, rendered, or undid, Hurinenko seeks the opposite: the absolute singular moment.I want to create something that is impossible to repeat.
